USMLE STEP 1 – How I Studied

Here’s a brief outline about how I studied for USMLE STEP 1 and the resources I used to study that helped me!

I studied for 12 hours a day, 6 days a week, for 9 weeks.
Materials ranked from highest yield:
1. NBME practice exams: Not mentioned but are very very imperative to utilize. I took 5 -6 (3 offered by the school and 3 on my own)
2. Uworld USMLE STEP 1 question bank
3.USMLE 2017 First Aid STEP 1
4.Sketchy Medical:

My name is Kristeen Onyirioha and I am an Internal Medicine Resident at UTSW.. I am a proud Houstonian Nigerian who loves learning new hobbies through YouTube. YouTube has taught me how to sew clothing, be a naturalista, and most recently be a videographer and a photographer.
